THE GRADUATION AND AWARD CEREMONEY OF UK JARMA ACADEMY AND ABDULLAHI BIN MAS’UD SCHOOL IN SOKOTO
The grand prize distribution ceremony for students of UK Jarma Academy (Sokoto Jarma Orphanage) and Abdullahi Bin Mas’ud School located in Polo Club Sokoto.
53 students of UK Jarma Academy (Sokoto Jarma Orphanage) memorised the Holy Quran while 24 students completed their secondary school with good results to continue their post-secondary studies.
160 students of Abdullahi Bin Mas’ud School memorised the Holy Quran while 371 students of both sexes recited the Holy Quran.
The Chief Host of the Occasion is His Excellency Jarman Sokoto Amb. Alh Dr Ummarun Kwabo A.A MFR (Father of the Orphans), a wise and knowledgeable elder, founded these schools in Sokoto State.
The event which held at the International Conference Hall in Kasarawa was attended by His Excellency The Executive Governor of Sokoto State Dr. Ahmad Aliyu Sokoto, FCNA, His Excellency Sen. Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko (Sarkin Yamman Sokoto), His Excellency the Sultan of Sokoto Sa’ad Abubakar III, The Honorable Minister of Labour Alh. Hon Muhammadu Maigari Dingyadi (Katukan Sokoto), the Vice President who was represented by the former Minister of Abuja, Dr. Aliyu Modibbo, the representatives of Governor of Borno State, the Governor of Yobe State, and other Excellencies and Kings within and outside Nigeria, and various dignitaries were able to attend this auspicious event.
